Royal grab handles

I need to fit some sort of grab handles in the back like the ones The Queen has on hers.

Does anyone know how easily a pair could be fitted? I don't think they were ever optional extras.

Here's the link http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/02/06...57572.html

Are they not just your run of the mill internal handles that are already in the FF … just buy a set of those

Yes they are but not sure how easily these would fit and whether it would be ok to drill in to the door pillars.

if someone has done the same or has them fitted they might be able to give advice.

I'll bet that it goes thru the plastic outter pillar onto the inner B pillar metalwork for strength either using a spacer or straight on but you'd need to see under the B pillar to check... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I'd like to see someone try and crash into the queen. Would be fun to watch on the evening news.

Hmmm I'm sure it came with the handles plus all the other bits.

Hadn't thought about the air bags...

Being an armoured vehicle I don't think removing an airbag is a big task to them!

Odds on I bet its got a little resistor in its place now... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
