Engine blower running all the time?

Strange one this. Drive a few miles this morning, all was well. Stopped for a few minutes and when the car was restarted the heater was blowing hot air. No amount of temp adjustments made any difference.
If I turn all the heater controls to off, a blower under the bonnet keeps running. Tried disconnecting the battery for an hour or so but when I reconnect the blower starts up again. Under the bonnet is very hot, but the temp gauge is showing normal.

IIDTool shows this error - p0480-13(2f) fan control circuit, but that's as much as I can find.

Anybody got any ideas?

Ive left the bonnet open to see if the temp will drop far enough to allow if to stop, assuming that's why it's on Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Have seen wires damaged at the viscous van hub, causing the fan to run on all time

Also seen a few AC issues, pressure too.high, so the fan comes on to bring the temps and.pressures down

Is this the HVAC fan or the engine/radiator electric fan that keeps running? - if the former could be FSR related? .

It seems to coming from the big blower unit at the back of the engine bay, closest to the windscreen. It's not the fan at the front, and it vents out of the bonnet grill.

Do later cars still use a FSR?

If it is the FSR, can I pull a fuse to stop it flattening the battery and still be able to use the car? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

OK, its not engine related by the sound of things, either HVAC (in which case I reckon FSR) or possibly even FBH on the go?

Used too many acronyms in one sentence, so have to go and take my medicine Laughing .

Put the battery on charge last night and had a quick go at pulling out fuses 12 & 34, which I believe are both A/C related. Blowers still comes on as soon as the battery is connected.
My first thoughts yesterday were the FBH,so when I got home I tried turning it off with the remote. Made no difference but the remote seemed to be talking to the car ok.

I'm guessing fuse 59 is the FBH?

Anyway, off to Aberdeen on the train soon, so I'll pull the FBH fuse later and see if that makes a difference. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Got home tonight. Tried fuse 59, same problem.

Tried all and any any fuse that is related to a/c, no change.

Thing is, now I can't turn the a/c on, nor the hrw or hws. I'm totally stumped! Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Just a quick update to say the problem was indeed the FSR.

All replaced and all is well, so many thanks to all those who advised this was the likely cause. Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
