2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

Fitting - as far as I can remember is
Disconnect Battery - v v important or so Im told
Remove side vents , trim under lower glove box and then glove box
Wire loom in between radio unit (under glove box) and ipod unit (v small box)
Drill access hole in very rear of glovebox and affix ipod jacks (there is a switch to choose CD changer or IPOD)
fit everything back again
connect battery - worked first time no probs.

The sound is great but its still a bit disappointing in terms of control only get to see five playlists but you do get full touchscreen control, phone muting etc etc. I had an aftermarket add on for my BMW 5er which was truly amazing and gave full and total control over the ipod and everythng that's on it!
Howver, if you like your music - I really recommend it. Soem of the fitting bits (like drilling an access hole is not vital to the operation fo the ipod - just makes it look better....

United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Corris Grey

Hunters in Guildford quoted me £500 plus vat to fit the offical ipod unit. As I am an occasional user of the ipod I went a low cost route which is a reasonable compromise on cost and ease of use. Sound quality is good because the output form the ipod uses the base connector not the headphone socket.

If I keep the TDV8 I may go the factory route to get the touch screen functionality, I have just splashed out on the Defender though, so I need to watch the spend for a while Whistle 2018 Range Rover Autobiography
