Or blag them for a look at the V5 to ensure everything is ok Whistle then contact the owner?
If you do get an Indy inspection I would use a Landrover specialist not the AA. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Canada 2008 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Java Black

I'm always suspicious of car ads saying "it only needs a $5 part." If you're selling a car, PUT ON THE $5 PART and sell the car as fully functional! Evil or Very Mad They usually don't because the part isn't $5 and/or the labour to put in that part is horrendous.

Good luck. FWIW, I have the black interior and love it. Personally, I was never fond of the grey or beige. White is lovely, but cleaning it isn't. At least over here, black and white are the rare interiors.

Found a landy indi in Dorking where the damaged car was - advise was not to touch with a barge pole............

I got mine from here.

Spot on. They did everything I asked of them.

Only got a Supercharged in at the moment by the look of it.

Could source a car for you if you let them know what you are after.

any thoughts on this one?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...TM:GB:1123

Its high mileage but does appear to have been well maintained and looked after.

just had a very lucky escape, last week - decided against my better judgement that maybe for the dogs and the kiting gear that gets carried about that maybe a Nissan Navara might be a more sensible option. Had paid a deposit on one and was due to pick it up on Friday. Garage called this am to say they'd gone to take it round to the valet bay a couple of miles away and timing chain snapped...... so it's now knackered. Refunding my deposit - shoud have known, had a nagging feeling I was doing the wrong thing all weekend...............!

One very, very happy bunny - did a deal on the car (for less than the current ebay bid price and still had 6 days to go) - picked it up yesterday - pretty much as described, few wee jobs to tackle, including a bit of de blinging as suggested.

So far CD changer needs attenion, few bits of damaged trim in the boot, steering wheel adjustment in and out caput and then its the tow bar and mud flaps. Great drive home from Essex - just cruised up the motorway (with a few petrol stops...........) 10 hours and it flew past. Might need to look at LPG.

Sand is a good interior compromise IMO, as are any of the interior choices with dark seats and light facia.

Cheers - so pleased I went for it. CD changer now stripped out and fixed and seems to be working perfectly - forum is such a useful place to get the info on how to do jobs, really appreciate it - I'd still be trying to get the thing out of the glovebox if I hadnt found the info on here.
