Driving in France - Bulbs?

Off to France for Easter in the FF Smile
Really looking forward to some long distance motoring

Got the toll booth tag from Sanef
European breakdown from ADAC
Hi Viz vests x 5
Alcohol sensors (even though law delayed !)

Only thing I'm lacking is spare bulbs

Do people bother ? What can I get away with ?
I've looked in handbook , and not exactly useful as only gives wattage, not type

Appreciate if anyone can tell me what bulbs I should have to keep French rozzers happy Mr. Green Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

Just buy a cheap generic kit at the petrol station Smile

The tail lights are all LED anyway, so no bulbs there and the front are the (expensive) D1S HIDs (at least on my SC), a halogen main beam (don't know which one) and the small glass bulb parking lights. Oh and the indicator lights are also glass bulbs. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

None!!! I'm driving a lot in France and never had troubles with it. There are so many laws and rules that they don't know them any more. In case they stop you just act like a stupid guy who doesn't understand French. They leave you because they can't discuss things.

First quote in French is always "il faut qu'on discute!" and if you don't talk french, they keep their hands of it. BTDT several times. Don't try to be the smart guy!!!

For the rest nice people. Very Happy 2017 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 silicon silver

Thanks !

Thumbs Up

Who would have guessed that choosing German at
school rather than French would have its advantages 25 years later Laughing
