RSW All Comms

I am thinking of getting one of these, it seems to be good value considering the USD exchange rate and the list of functions it has.............anyone had experience of one and how quick or reliable the delivey is from the good old US of A...........

They are good and cheap, BUT 1)you need a laptop to use it so if you get a fault away from home your a bit screwed unless you keep a laptop in the car, 2) the support isn't the best so your kind of on your own I you have a fault. I've had one and it was good but if I had the choice again I would have had a IID tool. Much better in the long run! [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Gentlemen, I can recommend the RSW, if you are working at different Range Rovers like I do, but for private use the Tool from GAP SteveMfr is the best. A client of me brought his GAP tool to me, and shows me all functions, top!!! L405 SDV8 2017 + Lancia Flavia Coupe 1964 + RRS L494 3.0 SDV6 + C220CDI Convertible 2021

Go for the IID tool from Steve, their support is excellent. I use the Faultmate and it is great but very expensive. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

just be aware that you need all your pixels to work fully to use the GAPP Tool . which may be an issue for a 2002 vehicle .................... Jaybear

I've got the RSW kit and I have to say it's done me proud. Works fine for everything I've needed to do - also worth getting the Navcoder kit - that covers the bits the RSW doesn't!

I find the All Comms unit excellent for straight forward diagnostic and fault clearance functions. The only drawback is the fact it can't deal with the TD6 engine.

It's American - and they only use Diesel engines in sludge pumps...

As stated above, the support isn't great. I've emailed Storey several times and he doesn't seem to be interested. His last email said he'd got other things going on in his life and hadn't put much into the Allcomms. Says it all to me

it is a shame, what was a very simple and easy to use tool seems to have bitten the dust, i wish he could take a bit of time and add the lcm commands to it... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
