It can also be done on the RR Sport by the driver via the instrument binnacle. I'm afraid its a dealer issue. Discovery 4 HSE

Out of interest, on an MY10 it is a settable option on the shiny LCD instrument binnacle menu.

The dealer should be able to give you a form to fill out all the options you want set, Hunters charged me £60 to have auto lock doors and headllamp delay (you have to pull the flash switch for this though so pretty damned useless). Bit galling to be charged for this after being parted with £40k for the vehicle. 2018 Range Rover Autobiography

Kilovolt, thats gr8, at last they are allowing the owners do the changes themselves.. Can you tell me whether it also unlocks the doors again if you stop the engine? SO, you drive off and the doors lock, but then when you arrive at your destination, you turn off the enine and the doors unlock again??? |

Whilst on a 2010 you can now select auto-locking on pulling away from the user options to keep up with Land Rovers comedy approach to electronics you still have to hit the button to unlock them when you want to get out or pull the individual handle twice . 2008 MY Supercharged

its meant to be like that. Its to prevent thieving illegals from opening the door and nicking your handbag when you pull up at the lights, junction, Mcdonalds, garage etc etc.

I set the headlight delay myself via a thread on this forum and works fine. Obviously I have to flash the lights as I get out to trigger the delay, but it's no hardship. Think it was just a case of getting in the car, locking the doors, then holding the LR button on the keyfob whilst holding the headlights on flash until the words 'headlight delay' appeared on my LCD display. On an 02 this is only programable by using TestBook/RovacomLite or similar, it is not available by using the dash buttons.

I have headlight delay on mine and I don't have to flash the headlights. I just switch off the engine while the lights are still on, then turn the switch to off. They stay on for 40 secs 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

I must make a trip to the dealers as I'd like the "follow me home" lights activated.
