I know................. not much help.  Currently running FFRR MY10 TDV8 3.6L and a Disco 3 XS Commercial (tank like but very effective as a Company van). Plus one mint condition Track Day Car in the form of an E36 M3 3.2L Evolution circa June 1996 with lots of go faster bits and only 52k miles on the clock! Oh, plus a few bits to make it slow down really quickly as well! Luvverly.

The dealer should be able to give you a form to fill out all the options you want set, Hunters charged me £60 to have auto lock doors and headllamp delay (you have to pull the flash switch for this though so pretty damned useless). Whilst on a 2010 you can now select auto-locking on pulling away from the user options to keep up with Land Rovers comedy approach to electronics you still have to hit the button to unlock them when you want to get out or pull the individual handle twice .  2008 MY Supercharged

its meant to be like that. Its to prevent thieving illegals from opening the door and nicking your handbag when you pull up at the lights, junction, Mcdonalds, garage etc etc.

At least if you are in charge of the unlocking, you can check first that its safe to do so...

I set the headlight delay myself via a thread on this forum and works fine. Obviously I have to flash the lights as I get out to trigger the delay, but it's no hardship. Think it was just a case of getting in the car, locking the doors, then holding the LR button on the keyfob whilst holding the headlights on flash until the words 'headlight delay' appeared on my LCD display. Steve

On an 02 this is only programable by using TestBook/RovacomLite or similar, it is not available by using the dash buttons.

I must make a trip to the dealers as I'd like the "follow me home" lights activated.
