Cooled Seats problem. Another Range Rover feature?

This is a bit a strange one.. I have used both the heated the cooled seats since I brought the car a few weeks ago and they all worked ok but today, my partner used the heated seats this morning and they became a little damp. she then used them later and they were fine. She then tried out cooled drivers seat and the same thing happened. SHe than ran the cooled seat again and it was fine.

It was damp, not wet. A kitchen towel showed signs of wetness when she wiped it down, but it wasn't soaked.

Does anybody know what this is, is this condensation? Anybody else had a similar problem?

Thanks

Be glad it's not a VW! A Jetta made the news here a few days ago when the seat heater shorted and set a car slight while it was being driven! Shocked The driver survived unhurt, but wasn't very happy. Media reports said it was a known VW fault.

I can't see how a seat warmer/cooler cauldron make things wet. I'd be interested in the answer. Sorry to ask an obvious, dumb question but it's not water dripping from the roof when you open the door or a leaky sunroof dripping onto the seat?

This is the first time I hear of it (there are some posts about the heated/cooled seats). I can imagine that it can be condensation but would expect it to be on the cooling as the drop in temperature could cause condensation. Have a little search and see how exactly it works and where the heat is generated from, maybe a small leak in the heater core or condensation in the heater core or AC condensation water not ending up underneath but inside the car and carried by the warm air ??? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

So - she claims the seats got wet all by themselves did she?

See if she's ever heard of these:

I would think it could be condensation, similar to the windscreen misting up in certain conditions. 2007 TDV8 Vogue SE Java Black
