Annoying repair!

I've just finished from replacing the ignitor in the n/s headlight. It has to be the most annoying repair I've done to date! First of all seized bolt preventing the headlamp being taken out then when it is out trying to figure out to get to the gibbons of the electrics inside. With patience and a lot of cursing I eventually removed two diddly bolts freeing up the ignitor. The it gets even more annoying putting the new unit in.

Now my question is what's been the most annoying / fiddly job to date on the Rover?

Fitting the side tubes. The threads in the body required re-cutting, fiddly but not the end of the world. Fitting the tow bar was more time consuming.

I'm surprised at you having problems fitting the ignitor - I did both sides on mine last year wearing a suit - the pars were delivered to work, so I nipped out at lunchtime and fitted them. I reckon it took no more than 15 minutes a side - and I didn't remove the headlamps to do it.

I didn't replace the silver ballast that is held on with 3 torx screws - I replaced the actual ignitor cable that runs to a small black box housed within the headlight.
