Bodyshop recommendations near Preston

I need to get some respraying done on my TDV8 and I'm looking for advice on any good bodyshops around the Preston Lancs area.

I need the nearside respraying from the front door to the rear panel due to a previous poor repair undertaken before I purchased the car.

I've been to H B PanelCraft in Preston and they've quoted £1,500, I've also been to Heatons Garage in Bamber Bridge and they've quoted £450 + vat. PanelCraft are a big operation used by the insurance companies and the main dealers. Heatons are a family firm who specialise in restoring classic cars.

Any advice / guidance welcome.

Heatons do get a good reputation and what a good price. They quoted me that for a front and both side fairings off my VFR.
Just because somewhere does insurance work doesn't automatically mean they are the best.
Can't remember who I used on my black TDV8 but he was on the industrial estate at Much Hoole. He was recommended.

I used P&M Autobody on Buckshaw Village to spray the spoiler for the wife's Juke it can only be described as perfect - they do all this sort of stuff for Chorley Nissan. I will be having my tailgate spoiler sprayed there soon when I get it ready (sorry tail on here elsewhere) and also my bonnet to get rid of excessive stone chips.
Worth giving them a call and talking to Paul on 01772 454362 Geoff
