Sorry, I have no idea what a SOT lead is, so can't help.

On my PURE there is a lead that feeds the digital feed into the FM aerial of the car's stereo for a better signal rather than just transmitting, I don't think that the PURE transmits without plugging in to the car's FM wire (unless you have a aux to use the line out) which as far as I know I don't (unless it iis hidden behind the dash).

One last question. Where did you pick up the perm & switched feeds and how did you route the Digital aerial

I picked up the supplies from the front fuse box, which is behind the lower glove box. The antenna viable is easily routed up the A pillar, but be very careful as their is an airbag behind the plastic cover, so it might be best to disconnect the battery and leave for around 15 minutes before you start removing it. I think that I will have to find a local installer (Stevenage or Essex) who can either fit my PURE unit or supply and fit the Alpine unit as not too happy about hacking in to fuse boxes etc... Any suggestions of local (preferable mobile installers) There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Having decided to hang on with my trusty FF - there being very, very few newer petrol engine cars in my price range in any event - got one of these fitted. I showed the fitter where to mount the unit by showing him the first picture in this thread.
