You sure its not the lacquer lifting off. This is quite common on the air intake grille.

Do you get your car washed at hand wash car washes? As the TFR does often stain brunel parts... |

Take them off and get them coded at a local paint shop for £30-30 per item.... |

Side vents - take them off and pop them in the dishwasher. Works a treat! |
