2006 Range Rover Autobiography Supercharged Zambezi Silver
Took The Plunge......

Well, I went to the Scottish Caravan show yesterday for a look about and ended up buying us a new caravan !

Was planning on getting one this year (second hand of some sort) but this one http://www.elddis.co.uk/touring-caravans/avante/avante-576 caught my eye and the deal was spot on so I went for it.....plus, nice to get brand new and a 10 year water ingress warranty.... Whistle

Should be ready for collection early April.... Thumbs Up

I had fancied a twin axle van, but was well impressed with the spec of this one (I wanted fixed twin bunks for my girls). Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

A nice buy - it seems every time i go to a caravan showroom i get a new van, on my third one now.

Make sure you follow the elddis servicing plan to the letter as they are very anal about it when claiming on the ingress warranty and judging by the shocking build quality of vans by all companies you may need to claim Laughing 2007 3.0L Diesel VW Touareg SE

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

In all fairness to the caravan companies things have moved on a bit from traditional timber with ally skin, now that many have introduced an all ally construction following the lines of baileys alutec system. Elddis have bought out the "SoLiD" construction method...

I personlly have always like elddis vans, mine however is a lunar, i want a new van but there is nothing out there which had the layout i want, mine isnt leaking at the moment so swmbo wont sanction an upgrade.....

The trick i have found to getting the most out of the van is to join the caravan club and book half a dozen weekends early on in the year, and then make sure you go.... If we didnt we probably wouldnt use it half as much.

Happy vaning. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ
