Absolutely Brilliant advice and something I have personally always tried to adhere to for my car.
There are 2 sides to this coin:
1. Making something uniquely different on your car helps you to identify your car as opposed to a ringer trying to clone yours, so you don't cop the blame.
2. That also means that when you ARE done for speeding etc, you can't really deny it!
