Germany 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

I had TPMS issues after buying my used '08 Vogue. After a while driving I would get the CHECK ALL TYRE PRESSURES warning, from which point it would display intermittently. The dealer spent a long time trying to find the problem. They ruled out faulty TPMS valves because I'd coincidentally had four brand new rims with TPMS valves put on for the summer (it was fitted with winter tyres when I bought it). Despite recalibrating the pressures the problem still returned. Eventually, and with help from LR techs, the problem was sourced to the TPMS control module, shown here, on the right-hand rear electrics panel in the boot.

After replacing that (80 quid) all has been well since. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

Just coming back to this with some feedback as it's now all sorted.

The garage in question has confirmed (categorically) that it was the drivers seat airbag that was at fault. The fact that it happened immediately after they fiddled with the drivers heated seat was a complete coincidence...and they definitely didn't damage the wiring or the airbag...

Can't say I am entirely convinced, bit too much of a co-incidence for an old cynic like me, but they have me over a barrel so I've had to fork out for the replacement. Wonderful warranty that I had that supposedly 'covered everything other than consumables' didn't cover airbags or wiring (different garage sold me the car & warranty).

Can't say I was terribly impressed...not helped that when the car came back having been thoroughly checked over as the warranty is about to expire it clearly had another sticking caliper - fortunately I spotted the warning signs immediately this time so managed to get it fixed (under warranty) before knackering the pads & discs. PS the discs DO get REALLY REALLY hot - it DOES hurt to touch them (duh!) I managed to drive from Birmingham to Cambridge braking twice, once to come out of the car park and the other about 50mtrs from home at some traffic lights!
