Not sure of the "reputation" you're referring to. Things have moved on from the dark days of Lord Lucas.

Either way - by hand is the answer regardless of car. You can use a low pressure hose if you really want. My valet guys use a watering can to get the lowest water pressure possible when rinsing off to avoid forcing water anywhere.

So Dan, bearing in mind your statement above regarding the reliability of RR Electrics, can you explain why when I went out to the car at 14:00 (after replying to your post) I got the bloody long beep & flashing button on the PDC which has never been an issue for me until you tempted fate with such a statement Big Cry ...lol

Typical, please remember that my luck does not actually need me to tempt fate, anyone associated with me, even in the most minor way imaginable, can bring on a 'tits up' event in my life.... Thumbs Up

Well you're going to hate me even more

I drove 367 miles today in the FFRR, the tank was topped out before I took the previous picture and when I returned to the same filling station tonight this was my reading.

No motorway miles involved

I went to the service mode on my cluster and it has a date of 2006, so my guess is it was fitted with a new cluster then

It was also cold when you fuelled John so you were able to squeeze a fraction of a litre more into the tank than you would on a hot day, or maybe I should say a less cold day! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

If the weather is as good on Thursday as it was today, then the car will be getting a full machine polish and wax, there was a guy valeting a neighbours car today and doing a really good job, so asked him how much, he took a quick look over the car and said £80 which I thought was very reasonable considering he reckons it would take between 4 and 5 hours.

So if it's fine tomorrow, I'll get some before pictures to show the current state of the paint with the swirls and tiny scratches it has. 2006 Mercedes CLS

£80 for full valet on a car the size of a Range Rover is excellent.
So is he doing it, or are you getting your hands dirty?? FFRR TD6 HSE

No chance of me getting my hands dirty and helping, I'll be out working, my dad should be in to provide the tea and coffee and more importantly, pay the bloke Laughing 2006 Mercedes CLS
