2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

From experience, ride comfort won't change, but increased road noise and quick tyre wear will bother you. I'd stick them on only for off roading or winter. Depends on the condition of your wheels - you can stick the tyres on those if they aren't great, and get some nice wheels/tyres for road use.

All depends on your wheels mate - if they are good, then buy a used set of wheels for the off-road tyres.

Your call. Java with Ivory 2006 4.2 Supercharged. 23.5k miles - NOW SOLD!

Cool, my wheels are in decent condition, to be honest, I don't use my car that often, it's only getting used on a weekend mainly as I work from home and use the work van all the time so I don't commute anywhere. I think I'll run them on the road, keep my standard tyres just in case.

Best thing is with them, the guy who was selling them works at the local Jaaaag/Aston Martin garage, when I went to pay him, he said, "Ahh, just give me £60 for them" Cool

They still have a decent ammount of tread left too, going to get them swapped over on Monday if i have time.

Good tyres those Thumbs Up

What I would say looking at the photos is that the edge (inner or outer not sure) seems to have worn significantly more on them - probably because they have been used on the road a lot with incorrect wheel alignment. See what your tyre fitter says, but you will find that if you use them on the road, they will wear pretty quickly.

Just so you know. Keep an eye on them, and let us know how you get on.

No bulb warnings at all, although I did lose the big plastc nuts that hold the sidelights in place in the process Laughing

They are nice and bright and compliment the HID's nciely. 2006 Mercedes CLS

What's the chances he did the install at night and lost them? Laughing

I'm not too into the blue look sidelights, and spotted these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Discovery-3-4-501-LE...439e207760

Looks like they rely on the reflector due to the LED angle to beam the light. Any thoughts?

I mention this because I have used LEDs in the past, and have found they are no where near as bright as an incandescent bulb in a reflective housing - no matter how bright the manufacturers claim they are... Big Cry The housing is not designed for them.

lol, lost the nuts as in they weren't attathed to the plastic tether and they dropped down into the depths of the engine bay, hence how I lost a sidelight/indicator unit on the motorway as I thought the 2 locating clips would hold it in place Rolling Eyes Laughing

They're been replaced with bolts and washers now though.

As for the led bulbs, I;ve tried the ones you linked and they didn't really give off much light because LED lights are very directional, and with them being pointed sideways, the don't shine through the reflector too well. That's why I went with the bulbs that have the side and front facing LED's, they look so much brighter. 2006 Mercedes CLS
