So is a D3/D4 better than a RR off road? I ask as those chaps all seem to have off road days but I don't see any for the RR.

a lot of us use our Range Rovers to off road, either work related, on shoots, farming or as landowners. Mine are used several times a week off road. The difference with a lot of us is :- 1). most of us don't feel the need to bragg about it - unlike a "D" owner 2). its a normal everyday occurance 3). off road use to most of us has a purpose, not merely following a trail of vehicles through a green lane or at a pay and play site. |

The biggest drawback for us in the RR stable is the tyres mainly, if you put Mud Tarrain tyres on the car is awesome.

I have driven Disco 3 TDV6, RR Sport TDV8 and FFRR TDV8 around Land Rover Experiance courses and cannot identify any real difference in abilty. All have variable height suspension and terrain control. TDV8s have a bit more low down grunt for getting up steep slopes.
