You only find out how good a warranty is when you come to make a claim. Imho they are a bunch of Just thought I would mention it. |

I have had a second year of warranty on my RRS with car care via inchcape and whilst it sounds as good as the land rover cover it is not in a couple of (at least to me) critical areas. There was no hire car provision and the scope of the warranty was more limited. For instance, the many wiring faults I experienced with the RRS were covered when the policy was in the land rover name, but not when under inchcape, most A/V items are not covered by the inchcape policy.

I have seen the limitations on the inchcape policy. And tbh they are similar exclusions that apply on the select lr warranty. As my Ff has turned 5 years old the full lr warranty is no longer available, this would cover all of the av systems etc, i would be limited to the lower level of cover. Having read the policy docs side by side there isnt much difference in the actual cover levels in terms of stuff covered, though there is a much higher level of claim limit on the inchcape cover.
