Any chance we could get the OP tidied up with firm dates and other pertinent info please? Too easy to miss something in 3 pages.

Sorry but as OP the thread is waiting on a majority view on the date. 1st or 15th June 2013. Salisbury Plain. Decision will be made in 7 days as to the date for the majority. Last time a lot of work resulted in one attendee because the date was not convenient. Once date is fixed it will be posted and diaries can be filled. Meeting point details will be posted once we know if we will be splitting into groups.

Hopefully I'll pop the cherry on the FFRR before 1st of June but really keen to join. If you don't get stuck then you are not trying hard enough.

I would suggest that our day out would be the ideal first time. There will be plenty of experience (25 years for me) and other FFRRs. The best bit is that there will also be plenty of cameras, and my gopro if I don't forget it, to capture the moments. Mind you looking at your pas cart history I would be surprised if you haven't done the green landing already and it's only the FFRR that needs christening. Nick 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

All but the D2 were owned and driven offroad in South Africa. I have not had the chance to go Greenlaning or offroad since I arrived in the UK 5 years ago. The FFRR is a new vehicle to me in terms of driver aids (HDC, TC and Terrain Response) so I am taking it cautiously. Hugely excited though. If you don't get stuck then you are not trying hard enough. 2012 FFRR TDV8 Westminister Gone: Def90 2.8i, Def110 2.8i Gone: RRC 2-Door and 4-Door, 2007 FFRR TDV8 Vogue Gone: Aussie Spec D1 V8, D2 V8 |

Well as per my previous post I think it would be an ideal outing for the full fat on 1 June. You WILL be amazed by it. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

Not sure of the etiquette for these (it will be the first time i have been to a club organised event) so thought i would ask if it is ok to bring an offroad buddy that has a 110 (it has a winch that may come in useful) ? |

I could canvas other's opinion but as the last trip was a mixture (FL2, D3, 2xFFRR) I cannot see too many objections. As for the which I cannot remember the last time we needed one, oops yes I can it was two months ago in the snow. However, that wasn't a "shiny" day out it was a "try some new lanes that we cannot see under the snow" day.

I have no objections about it being a mixed bag of Land Rovers as it always good to see how well they all perform. If you don't get stuck then you are not trying hard enough.
