Range rover code reader

Hi all,I queried early this week .£300 ish is a lorra lorra bucks.for the IID TOOL.
Ive trawled fleabay and found these below.
Has anyone had any experience with these,if so are they any good.?

Those are just OBD2 code readers, they will only read the engine codes and some may have the ability to clear codes.

The IID tool is far more than a code reader, it allows you to access and maintain all the ECU's in the RR, read & clear codes, switch functions on and off, etc.

Really no comparison

I have one and am very impressed with it, well worth the £300 for hat it does 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

Those code readers will be worse than useless for a RR, you may well find the problem but will still have the lights as I doubt they will clear many codes apart from the MIL . The IID tool looks fantastic for the money especially so as the firmware updates are free, we pay more every year for our Snap-on verdict just to update it. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!
