Those are just OBD2 code readers, they will only read the engine codes and some may have the ability to clear codes.

Those code readers will be worse than useless for a RR, you may well find the problem but will still have the lights as I doubt they will clear many codes apart from the MIL . The IID tool looks fantastic for the money especially so as the firmware updates are free, we pay more every year for our Snap-on verdict just to update it. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!
