I've just bought a proper range rover L322 towbar with the removable ball on the bay of fleas. This is to replace the monster of a towbar thats on the car. The one thats been on the car since I bought it is a Westfalia with removable ball but not the standard one. It has a huge bar that runs straight along below the bumper & I noticed that when I bought & tried to fit the Powerful UK stainless exhaust tips that they wouldn't go on at all.
I thinks the one thats on it might be some sort of extra heavy duty kinda thing.

My question is that on the proper Westfalia towbar with the removable ball, where do the electrics go?

When women say fine a mans in deep doodoo as fine has so many meanings.

they go through a grommet in the back panel then along the rear panel on the inside to the drivers side inner quarter panel where they plug into the little grey control unit.

There should be a small flange about 6" to the left of the reciever hole on the main bar. The electrics mount to this.
Then as^^^^^. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Many thanks chaps the car is already wired correctly with 12s & 12n but I'm toying with the idea rewiring a 13pin unit in to match our current caravan.
