First Time Buyer

Hi All

I have had the FFRR itch for some time now and a friend of mine (also trader) is selling a black 2007 Vogue. I can have it for £25K. Link below. DO you think this is good value. It seems it to me as low mileage but i look forward to hearing opinions from those in the know.

Many thanks

About right, imo.
It has supercharged rear lights for some reason, upgrade or damaged/repaired?

Not a bad price, seen a couple (classifieds) of £60k miler '07s for @ £24K. See if you can push the warranty out to a year, and check what kind of warranty! Difficult with a mate I know Smile (Oh, do all the usual checks first - see the wiki for links on this) .

I would rather have a 05 or 06 plate vogue for £12-13k and keep the rest and the 05 models won't depreciate as much as the 07 model Thumbs Up

it looks very nice.

It's a good price with that milage.

If you're going to to keep it for the next 3-4 years then don't worry about the depreciation mentioned as it will still be worth around 12k then.
If you look after it and don't put 100k miles on it. when you move on to your next one people will want the TDV8 over the TD6 any day.

Just my opinion Thumbs Up

If you like it then buy it, but never be afraid to haggle with a mate.

Looks nice, like black ones (mine is) but be aware that they are an absolute Censored to keep clean, in this weather it will stay clean for about 5 mins. Personally i wish i had gone with a stornoway grey one, they look cleaner for longer..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Looks like a clean vehicle, if you like it and can get a deal with then buy it.

Only negative that I can see it that it is not a genuine tow bar, if it does not have the landrover tow ECU fitted then the rear parking sensors will not deactivate and will pick up the trailer. 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

About right on the price, perhaps he might come down a little more?

As another comparison I paid £25k for a 60k mile 08 plate 8 months ago. Almost identical spec.

Welcome to FFRR ownership, you won't be disppointed! I still get a warm fuzzy feeling driving mine (and a very smug face these cold mornings when I turn on the cars "central heating" from my bed as the wife calls it!... Laughing ) Lloyd Barnes

As above its a decent price but getting something older as your first one will save you a packet and get you more ready for a better one as those TDV8 prices start coming down more after xmas... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
