Hi,first post on here but been with you since I purchased my 55reg ( facelift) in July.Love the beast and since I've had it I have fitted the digital tv upgrade and the iPhone module upgrade, after reading up on this Forum.Problem is, I've just fitted a lovely new leather steering wheel from Powerful but now the FBH doesn't work ?.you have to disconnect the battery to do this and the job is easy but the heater won't switch on using either the (2) remotes or the touchscreen timer. It was freezing last night so no problem with temperature ?Any ideas. Its a TD6 |

Just a thought... If the battery voltage was below a threshold, it might not switch on the FBH. I take it car starts first crank? Have you checked the relevant fuse? Maybe disconnect battery again. Previously..

Sounds like the glow plug might have gone. If it doesn't ignite within about 15 seconds it shuts off. That's what mine was doing. Easy fix once you get to it. Access is the biggest problem.

Yes, read up all the posts I could find before I purchased 2 T91s and programmed them to the car by removing rear unit plug, as I said, was working perfectly before fitting/disconnecting battery, now, by the wheel arch you here the low whine for 15/20 secs then nothing. |

Yep, that sounds broken. Could be the glow plug, do you hear the ticking from the rear of the car, indicating the fuel pump is running, as if not it may point to a faulty pump. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Update, being trying for a few days but still cut out after about 15secs!!,today whilst it was still below freezing (so no temperature issue) I disconnected battery for a minute or so and then tried again but still nothing different.Tried it once more and hey presto kicked in as it always had ???.No idea why ,so if you have a problem, keep trying !.Just hope it works tonight when I go to work |

That sounds like what mine was doing, check its going through the correct pre ignition sequence, fuel pump ticking etc.
