United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black
Newbie to full fat except my waste line

Hi guys just picked up my first ffrr
It's a 2004 td6 vogue with 98k on the clock, full service history etc needs a little sorting but very happy with it!

I've always been abit of a boy racer until I had a serious quad bike accident last year which has left me with a very bad leg with not much movement, I needed to buy an auto and did a search for best automatic and this black beauty popped up!
If you see me round Sussex/Surrey give me wave!!

Hope you like!!!

Very nice but would be better without the chrome and with a set of factory 0r Overfinch 20" wheels... Thumbs Up

They are my favourite 22" wheels.

He says, having upgraded from stock 18" to stock 19" !!

A fine looking motor.

Hope it serves you well for many years.

And Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

I have to admit the wheels defo drew me to buying the car!!

As with buying anything these days, the seller didn't tell me about a few things that needed sorting!
Ie: the day after buying it the battery was flat as a pancake!
Which I think is the route of a few other problems of which most I've sorted with the help of the search button.
I fitted an hd Bosch s5 202?? I think?? from euro carparts and things seem better.
The key stopped locking/unlocking the car! Reprogrammed and sorted!
The sat nav unit was dead so have bought a mk4 from Baris on here!
Select neutral and slow down warnings keep popping up but Haven't sorted them yet?
Any advice welcome

bosch 020 is the one..

select neutral and slow down suggests that you are in low range gears or in high suspension? .. ... - .- -.

[]

I tried fiddling with the low range lever and nothing happens at all, susspension was 100% set at middle level?

Is there any common faults with the transfer box?

the low range lever should, by definition go into low range, does yours not do that... ... - .- -.

I know sometimes they seize through lack of use.........the mechanicals rather than the switch.

Take it you have tried with the engine running, in 'N' and foot on brake ? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Hmmm??????

What's an average price for a transfer box? I suppose that's worst case ??

I think there is a motor on the side of it that the switch activates.

I'd get that checked out first.

Not sure if there is a fuse in relation to Low Range transfer........... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
