Many thanks for this, I now have something to show a mechanic here and hopefully he doesn't Censored it up.

Problem again happened this morning driving over a bumpy piece of land then the car pinged went into low mode and no gear,
is there a sensor of any type attached anywhere that could be involved ? again got a couple of fellows and the wife Rolling with laughter to push a few times back and forwards and then hey presto she went in gear (still in low mode) and we were off? strange, was funny seeing the wife curse in her heels though Laughing

the transfer box has a electro hydraulic motor that opperates it i.e it uses electric power to operate a hyd suction pump which changes the range and also theres a big ass plug / wiring that goes to it

that makes no sense even to me but sounds good Thumbs Up onto no6 Range Rover

I am wondering could this fault be related to a dodgy Transfer Box High/ Low Range Motor / and is there any way to bypass this motor and keep the car in high range with out it .... Question
