Ok today the dash display started lifting up and down on it's own, the radio power button light started to flash and it was randomly selecting radio stations, the only way to stop it was to turn the car off but on re starting it all starts again, can anyone please give me any pointers where to start.

Left hand side of the boot for corrosion and water. AFAIK the display button is direct mechanical and not ibus related, so this is an odd one, but may be affected by the bord monitor unit thinking tape eject has been requested. Problems most likely in the boot, but you may need to lift the dash panel to check connections to the bord monitor.
