FF a bit misty inside this morning

looked out at my baby this morning and the front screen was misted/fogged up but looked like on the inside? could see swirl marks where id cleaned the screen a couple of days ago too

What causes the misting up on the inside?

Its the weather! I looked outside my front door last night and there are 4 customer owned FF's there, and five other cars and they were all as you described! If yours does not normally mist up then its just a weather thing...

As craig says it can be the weather, particularly when a period of warmer, more humid days changes overnight to very cold.
Simple condensation of the moisture contained in the car.
If it carries on each night it tends to suggest you have a bootfull of water. Smile

If you have a heated windscreen it's nothing to worry about, if not a really thin layer of washing up liquid will stop it.

It sounds to me like the natural condensation you can get from the difference in temperature between the outside and inside.

I wouldn't think it was anything to worry about, even getting in and out with wet feet etc can make this happen.

I always run the car with the aircon on and mine has fogged up a bit on startup recently.

It's always worth checking the rear wheel well though. Discovery 4 HSE

Cheers everyone, its fine in the summer (well, the 3 days of warm weather a year we get), and only happens when its like it was last night Rolling Eyes

sounds normal then, was worried might mean a dodgy door sela or something letting cold air in

Read elsewhere could be a blocked pollen filter, but this was changed 2 years ago (only do 3k a year), would it be worth changing that again?
