Whats s a reasonable mpg figure for a 4.4TDV8

After 4 weeks of 2011 4.4 TDV8 driving just wondering what economy other people are getting from there RRs
Mine seems to be averaging 24.5mpg calculated and getting a tank range of approx 460 miles thought it might have been higher!
Computer is showing 29mpg
It's done 30k so engine should be nicely run in, was never expecting it to be frugal but thought it might hit 30mpg on steady 70mph runs on the motorway

Was always under the impression it would get about 10% more than a 3.6TDV8. I see 29mpg actual (30.6 indicated) in mine. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

Hi

I've just bought mine so quite new to the V8 engines. I've had RRS's up until now.
Anyway on a run at 70 i'm getting 32MPG around town about 20 as i live on the side of a mountain, i friend has a 4.4 and he's getting 3MPG more than me around town and about the same on a run.

Hope this helps

Granted from a Sport but the same engine none the less...

Mrs was getting 31mpg and above, That was 500 miles to a tank motorway driving.

She averaged 25-26mpg normal driving.

I get about 20-23 mixed driving but ive a lead foot. Hopefully we'll see a bit more MPG once the novelty of the tuning box wears off and we use the economy side of it. Laughing TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

IIRC the sport uses the 3.6 TDV8 not the 4.4 TDV8. different beasties entirely Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Cheers
