My FFRR in the snow

Whilst not pictures of the car battling piles of snow (though there was a few occasions when it did), here are a few pictures of my recent road trip to Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands. It is a lovely part of the world and down the road from my favourite distillery, Cragganmore.

If you guys haven't been to Aviemore, I would definitely recommend it - good food, good atmosphere, Land Rover country (even the cops had a FFRR). The locals reckon it snows from early Jan through to March. This year, we were very lucky that it snowed before Christmas.

The night before we arrived the temperature was -17oC. The following day, the temperature reached -16 degrees and was -9 when we left. Thankfully the car never any real issues, going wherever I pointed it (including trudging through the snow to get around a fat Censored in a C class who wouldn't move out of the way just because he couldn't get up a snow covered hill). Probably the only thing that stopped working was the washer fluid but it was below freezing temperatures.

Now to get the car valeted Smile

Not my car

Very true Adam. Driving it off road feels like I am getting more value out of the car, especially whilst other cars were getting stuck. I can't recall the number of cars I helped push onto the road.

I am glad I took it to the local guys to get pressure washed Smile

Hey, they even got up and washed the roof Smile

The worrying thing whilst we were up there was a guy in a RRS washing his screen down with hot water from a kettle Shocked. He looked like he was from Essex, so I said nothing.
