The TD6 is significantly improved by Chipping, check out Adam's RR it already has the JE Engineering remap. A chipped TD6 is not far behind a 4.4 petrol. Yes it will beat it in a drag race, but we are talking 1 or two seconds more to 60 not 5 or 10 seconds. In the real world you would be hard pressed to tell the difference.

TDV8 every time if you can stretch to that failing that go for the TD6, its not how quick you get there its about arriving in comfort and style and this is from a man who loves speed |

You don't buy these cars to go fast in. It's 2-and-a-half ton of metal for a start. I don't find mine sluggish and I've had some decent motors over the years. As has been said, it's about arriving in style and luxury. Do 200 miles in one of these and you won't know you've done it. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

Do try the TD6 first,as other have said it is a good engine. Have used mine through europe a few times and while its not super fast i dont find it that bad. It has been up to 120 mph a few times with no problem. |

The TD6 when remapped or chipped by a reputable company will transform the car.

The prices of 4.2 S/Cs have been moving upwards lately.... has anyone noticed? Wonder if its because of the bad weather? |
