Either no jeans or seat covers are the best bet.

Gtechniq L1 is a leather sealant that might work.

If they're SE type seats, then the heating is by hot air and not an element.

Why pay £80k for a car with posh seats that you cover up and never use |

Barrier creams like the one recommended definitely work. Had white leather and bright yellow in cars previously and creams always helped. You cannot avoid it. However you can reduce it. NEVER wear new unwashed jeans. Sit on a towel !! |

In the three months I've had mine, never noticed any dye transfer from jeans to my Ivory leather? I do clean them regularly, never noticed blue dye on the cloths either.

I have the white / aspen green leather and over the months it gets a bit dull so I just use leather creams to restore it back. As said earlier, not much point having great looking seats and covering them up. Mind you I have overcarpets and winter rubber mats and have left the rubber mats in the car for 5yrs now over the top of the overcarpets to protect them, so maybe I'm not one to comment!! Steve

Isn't this more of an issue if either the jeans or the leather are wet/damp ?
