United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Zambezi Silver

Since acquiring Mick's old SC 9 months ago I have covered 20,000 miles in it, with a long term average of 18.5mpg and the current tank is reading 19.4mpg.

I dont pay much attention to the mpg's at different speeds but my daily commute consists of 10 miles on country lanes at max speed of 40mph then onto the A1 for about 15 miles at 80mph and then a further 15 miles on A roads stuck behind lorries at about 50mph, and then back again in the evening.

The best I've manged on a tank was 380 miles.

My S/C averaged about 16mpg. My 4.4TDV8 is around 26mpg.

However, it isn't the cost (I too did about 7,000m pa), it's the time filling it up. 300m is about the effective range in a S/C vs 450m in a TDV8. So you'll fill up at least 8x more a year. It's actually quite noticeable.
