Dear Dave, very easy job, believe me, have done it several times, you can first go to youtube, and search for videos from RSW Solutions, the good Storey Wilson shows you the repair of struts, airbags and so on. The compressor to change, first take out your fifth wheel, than open the four screws on the floor, take away the cable for power and the pipe for the air, and than change it. Afterwards you must clear a fault with a RSW or GAP Reset tool, or you take away 12V power from the car before!!! you open the cable connection, then you have not to clear faults. If questions, ask me,

I was also advised by a LR mechanic to change the relay when I did mine - cost me £6.77 +VAT. l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

@T111RDY, very good input, yes, it is little money, because sometimes the relay is defct for the 3-Minutes-time. But please say to us, dear T111RDY, what of the three relays, all are green, is it in the luggageroom?

Job done both front airbag struts and compressor took about 3 hours In between changing windscreens not a bad days work. Compressor as stated really easy, the front struts were easy just time consuming removing solid bolts, lots of wd..

Swapping out air compressor

Just want to confirm with everyone that the air compressor is that easy to change on 06my vogue?

Remove spare wheel, unbolt, change, and reset faults?

Save me a few bob going to the stealers.

Thanks

@ Lolo, yes, it is correct, remove wheel, then the 4 bolts on the floor out, then the electric cable and the plastic-pipe for the air (bajonett pushing), very easy job. If you have a new one with shape, you can change direct, if without shape, three bolts and the white plasichholder open and change then. Afterwards clearing the faults with one of the 3 softwaretypes...

Ok so my dad change out my compressor for me, few questions,

It was soaking wet in there, would that have affected the compressor?

What's the nipple thingy for? Cause my old one was a lot more worn than the one?

So suspension now works but when I put in offroad height I hear a hissing back strut. I was told by my LR indy that it's very rare for the back bags to leak. Is that true?

Final question, car does not be lob sided in normal mode after left parked, how long u reckon my compressor will last. Score it burns out filling up the bags? Is it urgent to get new strut u think?

Thanks
