IIDTool Updater v3.5 had worked fine up until I updated from Win7 to Win10.

The program loads fine but when I connect the IIDTool to the PC via USB port it isn't recognised. The OS appears to recognise it on COM3 instead of HID1-16 making the updater report no device found.

I know my unit is okay as I managed to update it using my MacBook Pro,

Jack

by the way, where can I download the Updater from, I can't seem to see it on the website? 2024 P550e Autobiography

I struggled a bit with this myself - You have to be logged in to access the download page at Gap - www.gap-diagnostic.com Smile

LCM odometer values: we will look it up. Sometimes, the ECU do not support it but will answer with a dummy value. http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/

If it's an IIDTool BT then yes, else (non BT) it will not work unless the firmware is changed (55 GBP) http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/

IID tool

Hi just wondering if a menu tree is avaible for the IId tool so i can see what i can all do to diagnose my fuel injection fault, how can i check fuel preasure and injection pulses etc to fix it, also i quite often get funny characters on the screen and have to power of the tool and repower, it happens mainly when i go into engine ecu and try and read the error codes

The support from GAP is amazing. If more companies offered 50% of the support that GAP give things in general would be much easier. Can't praise them highly enough.
