easy entry/exit what does it do

Hi guys

picked the car up yesterday

while setting up the preferences I came accross the easy entry/exit on the menu.

there seems to be little reference to this in the handbook

The question is what does it do?

On yours it could be that the steering wheel moves in and out on entry and exit , or either when you open your door either by the handle on the door or the central locking button on the centre of the dash ...

thanks guys

thought it might be some sort of comfort access

(I of course don't need a retracting steering wheel Whistle )

Thanks gents

We took the plunge and switched it on.

At first it felt like a slow motion time warp kind of thing(you retreating backwards and the steering wheel moving away) Yawn

Would it not then make sense to have the option of droping to access height as well?

It is a good idea though
