My car is a 2008 MY in "black"..... I want to order some touch in paint as I've managed to get a small stone chip on the bumper. Have tried the manuals and under the bonnet/door openings but I can't see any obvious paint codes. I've even gone back to the original sale invoice but it just says black...

What was the "black" called in 2008, was there a choice of blacks or only one?

I've tried searching the forum and its seems others have asked similar questions but there didn't seem any clear help there.

Probably java black. The paint code should be on the vin plate under the bonnet on top of the passenger side suspension turret. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
