It's been a while, but I have been a good citizen, and whilst all my neighbours have been out every weekend with their pressure washers, I have patiently waited for the hosepipe ban to be lifted.

When I saw the first picture, I was just about to say, bloody hell, it does look dirty, your wheels are filthy, then realised they've been painted 2006 Mercedes CLS

Birds "spotted" the following day, but I am sure making it shiny helped it through its MOT .

its the black wheels [which look good btw] that made me think that...mines cairns blue and the contrast between the black door pillars etc looks ok so i'm thinking of black door handles ,front grill, side vent scuttle thingy and wheels...dont know about the lights though. i know these have been done but it does sound like a biggy job.. ... - .- -.

No direct sunlight or spotlights on purpose . Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Volvo V70 P2 2006 2.4 Petrol 170bhp Estate SE MG Midget Mk1 1962 Previous: L322 Range Rover TDV8 3.6 2008; L322 Range Rover TD6 3.0 2002; P38A Range Rover V8 1999 |

I have had a play darkening/blackening the grille and it looks odd. Guess one would have to do the headlamps and sidelights so it all matched in. Never really noticed before but someone in LR design did seem to match the colour of the grille with the headlight backing, for a reason .

I have a broken (cracked) indicator that I am about to replace - was going to try and split the broken one with a heat gun, as I would like to colour the inside of the headlights & indicators - although looking at using vinyl rather than paint so they could be returned to normal if I don't like the look!
