Big Bob - Clean Again after hosepipe ban lifted

It's been a while, but I have been a good citizen, and whilst all my neighbours have been out every weekend with their pressure washers, I have patiently waited for the hosepipe ban to be lifted.

Tried out some new products from Malco:

Ultra-Violet Wash & Wax (Rinse - Sponge on - rinse)
Aqua Wax (Spray on - leather)
Polish off

Has done a pretty good job. The Ultra-Violet on its own makes water bead when you rinse off. The Aqua Wax just adds to the shine. Need to get some Showroom Shine to finish the job. (Then will start own business Wink)

Spot the reversing camera!

Arty shot Wink

This one a bit fuzzy - need a drink Wink

Car really needs a darn good cut, polish and wax to remove all the cobwebs - later..... Smile .

When I saw the first picture, I was just about to say, bloody hell, it does look dirty, your wheels are filthy, then realised they've been painted Embarassed 2006 Mercedes CLS

Vents, Air intake, grille ? It had crossed my mind.....

When I get a moment I'll apply The GiMP (open source photo editing application to the uninitiated) to some photos and we can see what we think.

Not sure I want to move too far away from STD, but it is all reversible....

Then I guess I would want a black LR badge on the grille too ?

And then what to do when I put my 18"s back on? .

its the black wheels [which look good btw] that made me think that...mines cairns blue and the contrast between the black door pillars etc looks ok so i'm thinking of black door handles ,front grill, side vent scuttle thingy and wheels...dont know about the lights though. i know these have been done but it does sound like a biggy job.. ... - .- -.

I have had a play darkening/blackening the grille and it looks odd. Guess one would have to do the headlamps and sidelights so it all matched in. Never really noticed before but someone in LR design did seem to match the colour of the grille with the headlight backing, for a reason Smile .

Indeed they did Joe90... You can remove the headlight lenses and paint the headlight surrounds too... Not a hard job, just a shame the indicators dont come apart too... But then you could lightly smoke them if you really wanted the look... Thumbs Up

Scotland 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

I have a broken (cracked) indicator that I am about to replace - was going to try and split the broken one with a heat gun, as I would like to colour the inside of the headlights & indicators - although looking at using vinyl rather than paint so they could be returned to normal if I don't like the look!

May take me a few weeks, as I am about to go on holiday - but will post pictures when I get to it! l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l
