Woohoo - IIDTool CCF editing leads to FBH success (big grin)

Been wanting to make this work for quite some time...

OK, so now everyone is wondering what the fuss is about because of my German display, but "Standheiz./-lüftung" translates to "Park-Heat/-Ventilation". Thumbs Up Laughing Mr. Green

Christian spent some time on this ( Bow down ), but all IIDTool guys with diesels will now be able to make their RRs nice and toasty before they come out in the morning.

Woohoo!

Now a question: as of when did the RR diesels have park heat as a standard item rather than as an option ex factory? Anyone know?

We'll need betas with diesels. D3/RRS too!

One more pic (Zeit=Time=Timer settings).

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

Hi Adrian,
We'd have to try. In theory it should, as using the MID display to program the park heater was a BMW option (and IIRC it is even mentioned in the LR literature somewhere - RAVE? - but I'd be surprised if it was ever implemented and sold).

I'm still playing with my car PC so I will have the dash out again sometime in the not too distant future and I could try an old MID out. Problem is, I don't have an MID that's readable. All need the ribbon cable repaired. So I prob wouldn't even be able to see if it works... Laughing

You can try if you like. Very Happy
Alternatively I still have a nav retrofit kit that I'd like to sell... Whistle

Hi SteveMFr,

I have a D3 with the auxiliary Heather (TDV6 2006).
It has also the option to program the auxiliary heather to start on a certain time.
But this never worked.

I'am already in your Beta list.
So you, Christian or Patrick can contact me for testing. (they have my email).
