Hi Adrian, We'd have to try. In theory it should, as using the MID display to program the park heater was a BMW option (and IIRC it is even mentioned in the LR literature somewhere - RAVE? - but I'd be surprised if it was ever implemented and sold). I'm still playing with my car PC so I will have the dash out again sometime in the not too distant future and I could try an old MID out. Problem is, I don't have an MID that's readable. All need the ribbon cable repaired. So I prob wouldn't even be able to see if it works... You can try if you like. Alternatively I still have a nav retrofit kit that I'd like to sell...
