Suspension fault - again

It's happened again. However, this time, the indicator lights are on. I've got the message "AIRSUSP.INACTIVE" as before, but last time it happened, there were no lights on the control knob. This time, it is illuminated as though its in lock mode.
Strange thing is, it still self levels at traffic lights, inclines etc. I can hear it running in the boot on start up as well.

Any fixes? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Had that once (may have been related to low battery voltage after an externed interior session though).

Stopped the car; checked the boot for water below the spare wheel (none); started again and everything back to normal - hasn't reappeared again ...

Is it possible you may have a leak? Mine showed inactive a few weeks before both front struts gave up.

Maybe try setting it in offroad mode and seeing if stays like it, give it time and check all the bags are inflated. 03 4.4 V8 petrol / lpg. 1st of many hopefully. I love my Rangie

Sorry I realised you might have that problem after I replied. I presume you have tried the lock to lock steering fix to clear air susp inactive, it didn't work for me but worth a try.

I am not sure if disconnecting the battery may clear it, alternatively appeal for anyone with the allcomms thingy near you to reset it then try setting to offroad.

Good luck 03 4.4 V8 petrol / lpg. 1st of many hopefully. I love my Rangie

This does sound like what happened to me. Small leak in Drivers Side Front Suspension Air Bag.

The RAC AllComms cleared the fault, raised to off road, big hiss !!!

You'll need diagnostics to clear the fault, then the problem should become evident .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

It did exactly that on mine Joe, the leak is most prominent at offroad height. 03 4.4 V8 petrol / lpg. 1st of many hopefully. I love my Rangie
