Comms on OBDII Port........

Has anyone had any issues with the car only talking to a laptop when it feels like it ?

Some time ago I flattened the battery trying to get Navcoder to work, and last week JE Engineering had issues with the port, so it wasn't something I was doing wrong ........

Cheers

We've had numerous IIDTool users with this problem. There is either a diagnostic tool with huge, fat pins or quite a number of ham-fisted diagnostic technicians out there...

It is relatively easy to cure. Inside each connector there is a 'tongue' that needs to be bent back towards the middle of the connector. You have to remove the connector from its holder to do this, though.
All pretty self-explanatory once you take a look.
