Telephone Bluetooth

2 quick questions for those in the know....
If my phone rings when I have unlocked the car to access boot etc the phone goes to the bluetooth in the car but obviously as car speakers are off etc I cant hear anything. Any way to stop this as its a major pain in the behind!

And also to update address book do you unattach and reattach to bluetooth as loads of my contacts dont appear on the car?

Cheers
T

The car will only see contacts that are in the phones memory, not SIM memory.. Just a case of copying from SIM to phone if that is all it is.. Also, on the phone, you could switch Bluetooth off when you leave the car to stop connections when you are coming and going to the boot.. Previously..

OK Guess will have to live with it. Am in and out of car maybe a dozen times on an average day with phone going all the time so too much hassle to switch bluetooth on and off. thanks though

This is indeed a royal pain - the number of times someone called me, I put the phone to my ear and "hello?......hello?.......hello?......." until I realised what was going on.

What phone have you got? The iphone shows very clearly where the call is going and just needs a tap of the screen to return the call to the phone.
