the reason i ask is, main dealers gonna charge me a lot more to fix my keyfob problem, would either of these

With the rsw one I have seen something on the suspension settings to put it in to transport mode.

I dont know if this would sort your problem out.

How this relates to a fix for your key fob I dont know Confused

I have the IIDTool and it can put your car in Transport Mode (Build Mode).
To get it out of Transport Mode there is a Re-Enable EAS option.
I don't know if this will fix your key problem.

Quote:
Build / Transport Mode
This deactivates or re-activates the air suspension.
When an EAS equipped vehicle is transported on a trailer, entering build/transport
modes keeps the EAS from lowering. This prevents a loosening of the tie down straps.
Note: Activating the Build Mode / Transport may cause an error to appear on the instrument
cluster. The EAS ECU is deactivated and this may affect other vehicle systems.
Upon exiting the Build/Transport mode, the error will disappear.

The IIDTool developers listen to the needs of users and add options (if possible).
Another nice feature is changing the CCF. (Car Configuration File).
You can take a look here for the Functionality list (select car and year): http://gap-diagnostic.com/products/iidtool.html

I found this tool very easy in use. No Cables and small enough to have it always with you (or in the car).
