How do I enable "lazy locking" please?

On my 2003 TD6 Vogue,I had the lazy locking feature pre enabled(opens/closes windows/sunroof remotely).

On my new 2007 SC Vogue SE it is not enabled, the book says LR techinicians can do it....but does anyone know please how to perform such a simple task? If you have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all.

Think you still need a dealer to do it via the OBD Discovery 4 HSE

Yes, on 2007MY to 2009 MY, all those settings must be made by the dealer.

There are a bunch of settings you can chose from....

On the other forum, there's a post with the available options, search it.

Definitely through the OBD - are you sure?

In that case, it doesn't have to be a main dealer then?

nopes.......You're pretty stuck.

All you can change is what you see, clock, reset odometer, central screen menus, etc...

All those other things, lazy locking, single point entry, autodoor locks on the move, PDC sound level, headlamp timer, low outside temperature warning, key/seat memory activation, etc... must be set by the dealer or someone with the software to ''read'' the car.

You can however do the headlamp timer yourself (by following the info on another thread on this forum). I did it on mine , so now, if I want the lights on long enough for me to get in the house, I simply flash the lights and the 'main beam delay' message now appears on my dash display (previously, they just flashed and went straight out as usual) and the lights stay on for a pre-defined time period. Very Happy Steve
