Depends - if you have a pre dvb (i.e. analog) tuner you wont pick up today's digital tv signal. There is plenty of discussion on this forum. QUID FACIUM TIBI

Hiya,

I haven't got a tv in mine - however you need to make sure you have a digital Tuner to get it to work - notice that you have a 2004 FF it may have the old analogue one in it a the mo. If you do a search on digital tuners I'm sure you will find a thread or two..

Cheers

Simon

You can either,

Fit a later hybrid digital unit from a later BMW, this is a straight swap and what I did to my TD6, but they cost hundreds...

Buy an aftermarket kit....

Baris on this forum can change the insides of your current one so it works...

Or you can change the electronic components as mentioned above...

Loads of info on the forum.

Yes, it's all in the boot. All you need to change. It's a straight swap.

Or Baris can upgrade your existing unit, to perhaps better, so have a look
