I just called up another dealer and they confirmed that there is no outstanding recall work pending on the vehicle so persumably that means its been done. I will grab a mirror and have a gander underside this weekend.

Car's gone back to the chaps I bought it off today to sort out the rear camera and the "clunk" ... fingers crossed it all gets sorted.

Now where's all the snow gone?  African Bush Junkie ... in London!

I bought our 2005 FFRR from a Toyota dealership.
I was on the lot, looking it over when the sales guy comes out.
We say hi.
i drop down to the ground, wiggle on my back underneath with a flashlight.
"What are you doing?"
"Making sure the front differential recall has been done."
"um... ahh... well... has it?"
After another couple minutes, he said, "you clearly know more about this vehicle than I do. How about if I go get the keys for you?"
"OK, that'd be nice."
